Woodland Presbyterian Church is an inclusive community of faith seeking to share God’s love for all Creation, welcoming everyone to full and equal participation in the church, promoting deep concern for the ecology of the earth, seeking to embody in our lives the love of God embodied in Christ Jesus.
As a More Light congregation, and a member congregation of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians, Woodland works for the full inclusion and participation of men and women in the life and ministry of the church, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.
This Week at Woodland
Woodland hosts a Saturday Supper for anyone who would like a meal. If you would like to help or contribute, please contact Kelli McClendon at 615-417-8220.
This Sunday is our Fall Kickoff! Our Sunday time of fellowship and discussion begins at 9:30. During this time of pastoral transition, we will take time to look at our roots. Led by friends from Woodland and from the Presbytery, our “Woodland 101” class will examine what makes us who we are. Adults and children over the age of 10 are welcome. We will also have activities for children under the age of 10.
Sunday worship service begins in the Sanctuary at 10:30 AM.
Woodland Wednesdays will begin with a community dinner at 5:30 PM. These dinners are growing and require lots of helping hands. If you are interested in serving in some way, please contact Megan Morton. Contributions of any amount can also be made to help support the ongoing cost of suppers.
